Got a pot in yesterday and it's gonna be filled with dry ice either today or tomorrow. I thought I'd clean my room before my parents get back today but naturally I'm putting it off by posting here.

Since I went ahead and test mounted it yesterday, why not take some pictures?

And on a unrelated note, anyone know a good place to get custom shirts made?

Does it work? I see no ram and other stuff put there, but I'm guessing you did.

And Cafepress.

Haven't used it with the pot on yet, the test mount was just to see what it looked like and what-not. I did a few runs earlier this week with the stock HS/F and a very noisy fan, and I managed to do this,

CPU-Z Validator 3.0

The MB is being picky about giving any serious business voltage though, so I might have some problems with that.

I got a e4300 in the mail somewhere, but I don't feel like unbolting the cooler off my main rig to take the Q6600 out. I've gotten that sucker to 4.4ghz on cool air so I'd be surprised if it didn't pass 5ghz, but that's another day I guess.

Did a few benches with the celery at 4.8ghz, it's slow as balls.

Haha that sucks.

Did you mean e5300?

I was planning on using the Q6600 for the computer I was going to build this summer, but the upcoming release of i5 might have to postpone that.

Is it good enough not to wait for i5 and pay the rather high price of ddr3?

No, 4300. IIRC, it might be an engineering sample as well.

At any point in time you can wait for better computer parts to be released before you build a computer. You can wait for new parts to be released, you can wait for prices to go down, and you can even wait for new processor revisions that run cooler. At some point you just have to bite the bullet and buy something, and keep in mind that there will be something much better to buy in a few months.

I'm in the mood for a Hardee burger now. Today we had near frozen Mcdonald's burgers for lunch.

Our hotel doesn't have a microwave oven, and it's raining for the rest of the month, so we buy food in advance and refrigerate it.

My mommy told me not to talk about these things yet!

But seriously, no. Just no.

Has anyone else noticed a lack of a certain Canadian salamander? I loved Kiro and his conversations.

eh I'd give transformers 3/5... the interactions between the transformers was much more logical, it looks like they actually watched some of the shows this time around *gasp* the first hour of the movie was absolutely stupid and there were some moments were I thought the movie should have had more class. Everybody looked good and they pulled out some old favorites. They did do one stupid painfully obvious tease, it was 80s-tastic. They also didn't do much to explain how they made protoforms without the allspark.

edit: oh wow... what happened? either way I'm done in this thread

Me thinks we should stop this. We lost KONAKONA.
