For those interested, xin has updated his site to include details on the options available along with costs. Answered a lot of my questions, but I'm still hoping vranswer and zanth will post some reviews/comparisons with the sr-71. Seems the 637 and 8610 are the only opamp options though. Silver is an option though....l like that! Wonder if Ray would do a silver job upon request??

Anyway, Zanth and vranswer....let's get these reviews up! Some of us got amps to order!

I recevied a email from Xin todday which had a link to a page on his site which
had the options, prices & ordering info. But it was just one page. try to go
into his site as normal and that page is nowhere to be seen

Wow. I guess I must have a collector's item then. Mine is the SuperMono - says so right on the faceplate.

From Xin's site:

Note: this page is only for those who really want to get an amp before its formal release. Everything is subjected to change. Please wait for the official release date.

Something leads to me to believe the 'Xintechs-SuperDual' fiasco and the associated legal wranglings has something to do with the change of the monicker for the new amp from 'SuperMono' to a 'SuperMacro'..

I am just guessing here, and Xin is the only one who can answer the question behind the name change.. Maybe his earlier contracts with Xintechs had the mention of plans for a 'SuperMono' amp to be produced by the venture.. but since the venture is now defunct, I guess Xintechs still has rights to a 'SuperMono' monicker.. hence the name change to 'SuperMacro'..

How is this conspiracy theory??
