I hope thewizard consider adding the pressure relief function like 64Audio. It takes the pressure off the eardrum.
That would be a good idea, since noble doesn’t have any new techlogy from their product.

Food for thought:

EtymoticResearch, Sensaphonics & Noble all founded by Audiologists, but yet all three companies have not adopted the use of the Adel.

hopefully its not as thin sounding as previous noble flagships
It's not thin sounding. It's trending more toward openness as headphone now aday.
I have both Utopia and HD800S, and the Khan is getting close to Utopia in detail retrieval but not as wide soundstage as HD800S.

Maybe the Sultan details tame down its harshness per say by the use of two electrostatic drivers? Perhaps.
Use the same Dynamic driver and 4 Knowes mid?
Wait for the reviews first.

Neutral-ish, if not perfectly a reference flat frequency, for studio use.

Honda 6 cylinder accord
E46 M3, 6 cylinder

Both fantastic cars, but vastly different.

Relying on the Fir, while all accounts I've seen are positive, to determine the Sultan's performance is not something I would recommend.

That said, I have never heard the Fir 5, so take my words with a grain of salt.

3k for a universal IEM is INSANE! You can get a very nice custom for that price and not have to worry about fit issues that this will surely have for people. Crazy.

While I absolutely agree with you that prices in the IEM world have gone insane, I just sent my only custom IEM back to its maker - for reshelling to a universal fit! Because I never got accustomed to the custom fit, even though I had it refitted once. Just wanted to mention that from my experience unfortunately a custom IEM is not always a guarantee for a perfect fit...at least for some people like me...
