Loving the D8K Pro. What are people using as a portable rig with these ?

I have a Chord Hugo TT2 and I assume the Chord Mojo would be a great portable option too.

Really want a simple set up that I can hook up to my iPhone 11 Pro Max.

But I’m open to all suggestions, Dragonfly Carbon, iFi also interest me.

Several amps are great, these cans are easy to drive.
Schiit Jot 2.

Neve RHNP
PassLabs HPA-1
Schiit Magni 3+

I haven't tried it, but by the reports of a few people I trust, and my good experiences with Singxer transports - the Singxer SA-1 is most likely to be a great option.

I hear it's a warmer and fun solid state amp, which would be a nice pairing with D8K Pro in my opinion.


I use BHA-1 and think the synergy is fantastic

I have a BH1 on order....
The best pairing here after many, many amps and dacs is the iFi Pro DSD into a PassLabs HPA-1.
Absolutely stellar all around.

Looking forward to testing the BH-1 against this setup...I am sure it will be as good.

Also looking at sevearl new things that will be out shortly..

But with the setup I have already, its pretty much a 10 out of a 10.
The only negative thing is the quality of the source material.
Its so resolving that the quality of your music is now the weakest link here...

I've tried the Soloist....
Was unable to hear any clear difference between the Burson and my SP200 or my Shiit Magnius...

Perhabs the D8KPro is "amp proof" or the amps I tried were not able to drive them at their best level. The Soloist was one of them, with Magnius, SP200 and the incredible Lejonklou Giella Pi

It does....but I would really like to have tried your iCan Pro amp as well but they are hard to find new....but I am hoping you will come out with something

There are always multiple projects in our pipeline, so at some point we might addrees your need. That's not an announcement or teaser of anything specific though
