Hifi Choice used to publish resistance, capacitance and Inductance of the cables they tested and there was remarkable variation in the numbers. AFAIK some of these factors are frequency related, so they should sound different too.

According to his link, it looks like 1 dB at 63 Hz.

1 dB is the absolute edge of detectability with test tones (with music it's about 3 dB), and 63 Hz is the very edge where low frequencies become a note and not just a rumble you can feel. Put those together, and even with direct A/B comparison using test tones, I doubt if many humans would be able to hear the difference. It certainly wouldn't make an audible difference for listening to music, and it positively isn't worth spending hard earned money on.

edit: Just looked at his post. It looks like he was getting a +-2dB variance on his measurements anyway. The same cable mesured at 90 and 88 on two different tests.
