The route to sonic elation (or which equipment to buy? DAC or iMod?).

Hi folks,

I just got my Meier Move a few days ago and am already looking into upgrading (thanks to all those great people posting reviews about the little gem). Right now, my source is my computer's USB (EAC ripped wav files, lossless PCM), my DAC and amp are the Move, and my cans are Senn 580's (glad I was able to get a hold of them before they totally disappeared). I love the sound I'm getting from my equipment, being all this is my first foray into high-end audio. I also know that the sound can get better and that I love gadgets, so... Where do you kind folks think my money would be best invested?

Route 1 (Delayed Gratification):

Get an iMod and the Jumbo Cryo X Silver iMod cable from AudioLineOut for use with the Move.
Then, go for the Woo Audio WA6 with all the upgrades on his site and another cable from the iMod to the WA6.

Route 2 (Almost Instant Gratification):

Get a Headroom MicroDAC for use with the Move.
Then go for the WA6 with a cable from the DAC to the WA6.

My main focus here is going to be on sound quality at home within my foreseen budget. Therefore, portability is not necessary. As you may be able to tell, my goal is to eventually have a great desktop/home amp. I like the WA6, right now, but that can change.

So would I get better sound quality, for now, going the iMod route or the MicroDAC route? It is a plus that the MicroDAC would be an all-around cheaper solution but I can wait if the iMod would prove to be the better sonic option compared to a computer as source with DAC.

Thanks folks,
