Last time I posted here, many months ago, I'd bought an Ety 4-p. Of course, the sound was great, but a few things I couldn't never get used to. One was the microphonics from the cord.

I've tried a Beyer 250-80 since the Ety, it doesn't come near the Ety the sound quality. Much quieter cord, though.

Now, my question: if I spring for a Grado RS1, how will the microphonics compare to the Ety and Beyer? I've read one or two posts complaining about it, but I'm hoping it wouldn't be nearly as bad.
