I am interested in getting the Prodigy discography at last. I like all their three albums. I saw them on vinyl for like 30 EUROS. Cds will cost much much less.

But I dont know if the recordings are in 24 bit (they ARE digital arent they?) or 16 bit. If they are in hi-rez I will save up and go for vinyl. To get all those fat analogue synth sounds warm and full. But if the recordings are 16 bit there is not point in spending so much money. I would rather get the CDs. Does anyone know so they can help me decide?

I remember reading this interview and Liam was talking about talking his DAT to the studio to put in vocals to the music and EQ a bit etc. So I assume it is in 48Khz.

(Btw is ADAT 16 bit 48Khz-its irrelevant with the above just asking)

16-bit for sure. Back in the "Experience" days, they were using 32khz samples

I have heard the vinyls, and they do sound great. I say go for em..
