Does Pono play ogg vorbis files?
I don’t think so. I’ve used FLAC, ALAC, AAC, and MP3 on mine. I’ve also done uncompressed AIFF and WAV. I think it plays DSD, but I don’t have any of those.

one thing to note: gapless playback only works with lossless files. There’s a small gap you can hear between tracks when using MP3 or AAC files.

Thanks, I just found out it actually does read ogg vorbis files. Cool!
Oh, that’s cool. Do you have any gapless albums where you’d be able to hear if there’s an audible gap?
Even for songs where I only had purchase AAC tracks, I converted them to lossless so the gap between tracks would go away (even though it increased the file size)

Received my two last week, but they stated more will become available. They are looking for comments on how the batteries they do sell work out for Pono owners though.
I ordered mine but still in transit. I’m wondering if they’re going to want to keep the little circuit board that’s on there to keep reusing?
