Quick question…

I just purchased some Penon Liqueur Orange tips for around $3 for 3 sets on Ali and I’m thinking about getting some of the Blacks as well but what I’m wondering is this…do I really need them since I already have Tri Clarions? From what I have read, they both seem to be pretty similar given they’re both wide bore tips. One main difference seems to be the Liqueurs are sticky while the Clarions are smooth.

Just looking for anyone who may have tried both and can give me some insight.

They are completely different tips altogether. Different densities and silicone material and how they might fit better in your ears. Its always worth getting different sets of tips as you never know if it will mesh better with whatever IEMs you are using them with. I have every set of tips you mentioned. I like Clarions for larger multi driver IEMs the Liqueur tips are definitely worth trying out as I feel they are a bit more versatile. Never a bad thing to have different types of tips, especially if you own your share of different types of IEMs.

Thanks.

Sounds like it would be worth the $10 for 3 sets of the Blacks if nothing else just to have more choices when it comes to matching tips to IEMs.

Only wish I could get them with the Ali $4 Welcome Deal like I did with the Oranges.

Description

The new era of IEM ear tips

In headphone technology, the integration of silicone ear tips and phase plug can be considered a key innovation.

The superiority of this technology is reflected in 4 aspects: ear tips design, phase plug sound wave guidance, integrated design, and audio quality improvement. Through these innovations, IEM headphones can provide users with a superior music listening experience

The innovative design:Silicone ear tips with phase plug and cone

The patented design of silicone eartips ensures a perfect fit with the user's ear canal, providing exceptional comfort when worn.

This requires innovation in the shape, material, and elasticity of the ear tips to accommodate different users' ear shapes.

Excellent sealing not only blocks out external noise but also ensures that sound is faithfully transmitted into the ear.

Phase plug(wave guide)and cone

The design and optimization of phase plug combined with cone represent another key innovation. By improving the shape, angle, and material of both the phase plug and cone, sound can be maximally directed through ear tips, significantly enhancing the transmission effectiveness of sound. Phase plug can reduce sound reflection and distortion, ensuring users experience clear and accurate sound quality.

Integrated design

The integration of silicone ear tip and phase plug is key to achieving overall optimization. It requires considering the connection method, layout, and dimensions of both components to ensure they can operate harmoniously within the ear tips, maximizing their effectiveness. Careful integration design ensures users receive an excellent audio experience

What do you suggest? It wouldn't be possible from the looks of it since they're not going to leave the house. 😂 😂
All jokes aside here.......the looks grow on you after you become enthralled in what they do.

Anyone compared penon osg to the penon pyramid before?
The OSG is that quintessential Graphene sound. The Pyramid is the alloy sound in the end. What this means is the OSG being one of my favorites has sculpted bass and a unique bass stage that has added darkness for the bass to play around in. The OSG holds a wide and detailed midrange holding a more polished attempt at imaging than regular silver. To where there is a fully separated treble held as part of an imaginary distance for such treble formations to live. The Pyramid is more like sheets of sound and forms clumps together still in unified clarity but less space between stage items........still though just as big stage wise. To where the Pyramid cable brings a more unified but warmer low end, think about sacrificing OSG sculpted bass for warmer and less itemized listening in the bass department. The Pyramid has in-fact big treble and midrange which is this alloy sound, not the same as Graphene being just as big of stage, maybe bigger but instrument ideas are more together not holding the Graphene smoother itemized structure of the OSG. Really the two are both equally great, and it would depend on the IEMs to choose how to install them into the best use. Still the Pyramid holds a very real idea of your sound, so much so that it is flamboyant with how it pushes certain (real sounding) vocal frequencies into a forwardness of stage, leaving the OSG behind with such talents. It really depends what sound you are into and the source and IEMs used. The OSG has been a legend here at Redcarmoose Labs, so it is hard to find fault in how it sounds.

Can anyone provide a definitive comparison between the Fan3 and the SHOCK? I have the F3 and I think it's terrific, although the mids are scooped a bit more than I prefer, and I'd like a tad more bass. But I love the sense of realism, black background, and 3D space.

Just curious if the SHOCK is similar in terms of space, imaging, and realism? Could it be considered a "more mature" F3?
