Hello

I don't have links to the full albums(except Leeway), but here are some of my lesser known favorite bands with a recommended album:

Band: Short Sharp Shock(u.k. modern crossover thrash) - think Slayer with gruff vocals and a dash of comedy..one of my favorites!
Album: Short Sharp Shock (2006)https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r9JFGth04wg

Band: Send More Paramedics - zombie themed thrash metal, yet again from the u.k.
Album: The Hallowed and the Heathen (2004)https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mTGxhx9SSy0

Band: Dead Horse - Texas technical death metal, but quite unique
Album: Horsecore - An Unrelated Story That's Time Consuming (1988)https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kPyeXKLRMjM
*This particular album by Dead Horse has excellent recording quality for its time.

Band: All Out War - often labeled metalcore, but not so simple as that
Album: For Those Who Were Crucified (1998)https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZCUarO-E9Ck
*I prefer their debut album ''Truth in the Age of Lies''; its extremely rare and out of print, I had to spend a decent dollar to get the CD from ebay.
Edit: The album had been reissued in 2012 and contains their 1992 E.p. as a bonus, good news!

Band: Rigor Mortis - extremely technical american death metal, but gloriously unique
Album: Rigor Mortis (1988)https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BHd0NRwE8aA
*Recording quality is subpar, but the guitarwork is amazing..Mike Scaccia has magic fingers.

Band: Merauder - 90's american hardcore (seems a bit out of place in this thread, but I love it)
Album: Master Killer (1996)https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oLt9djYdjLU

Band: Demolition Hammer - 90's tech. death
Album: Epidemic of Violence (1991)https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RsUlc5k79KY

Band: Leeway - amazing 80's hardcore/thrash
Album: Born to Expire (1987)https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ykiyfwGFKa0
*The album is virtually extinct and needs a reissue..seriously.
Edit: There was a 2015 re-issue of their entire catalog, yes!

These bands stand out in my metal library; there are many more I want to add, but I wanted to keep things short. These bands deserve some attention, imo.

wow this stuff is really good, not a huge fan of older style metal genres, but this is some seriously good stuff, love the guitars

Did you check out Unleash the Archers? Fast, tight melodeath elements...guitars sound similar to what you posted earlier.

Try to add links...that way we dont have to go searching...It helps to expose folks to new styles/genres of metal

I just did, the power metal style of vocals are not my cup of tea, but wow you are right I absolutely love the guitars, very nice recommendations. Also the air raid band seems to be very obscure, I cannot find a wikipedia page of them and I need to search for very specific albums to get results of them
