:flag_us: Hippie Death Cult. Album is out on the 26th (a week today). If it's as good as the first song, it's going to be great. Worth buying for the band name alone:thumbsup:

Bought this today and just listened to it, it's a great listen

:flag_us: Calliope - ORBIS (NYP). I posted this in TFFT a while back and I've grown to absolutely adore it. Heavy hints of The Doors and The Dandy Warhols. I defy you to play this on headphones and not grin from ear to ear. :-

:flag_us: Cambrian Explosion (NYP). Same as above, posted in TFFT a while back. Ridiculously overlooked Album. I have new DAP syndrome, I'm rediscovering old music again

:flag_us: John Wilkes Booth (NYP). Another great Album. Bad news first, He killed Abraham Lincoln. Good news, he was way ahead of his time musically. Ahh, the duality of Man, eh? :yin_yang: :-

Hey metal-heads - a band I really like just released a thrash metal influenced album called Infest The Rats' Nest.

Coming from a casual metal fan, I think it stands alone as a pretty good metal album, even if is more of a psychedelic-thrash fusion. Sorry if I am wrong and it sucks, your ears bleed, etc. but I'm excited about it so I figured I would share. Pretty big departure from their other music.

I really dig the songs "Organ Farmer" and "Self-Immolate"

Fancy seeing you in this thread.
Yeah they were posted a few pages back

Their video for Planet B is pretty bizarre upon first glance, but within context of the songs meaning it actually makes sense.

Haha I know man, I'm out of my element! I would normally never recommend a metal album on a metal thread, but thought maybe these guys would be off the radar, guess not, but the full album just came out yesterday.

Yeah they are pretty weird dudes, probably has something to do with all of the acid they are on...but anyway, hope someone likes it.
