Has anybody here experienced them? Check them out at pitchfork (dusk at cubist castle, black foliage: animation music vol.1). Their sound is so ridiculously complex/sophisticated that you are guaranteed to hear something new every time you listen to it. They are heavily influenced by the Beatles and the Beach Boys, but they are unique and original enough not to be considered copycats. Mix that in with some good old experimentalism, and you have quite an exotic listening experience. Check them out.

Brilliant, but most of the Elephant Six bands are brilliant: Neutral Milk Hotel, Olivia Tremor Control, Of Montreal, Elf Power... perfect pop packets.
