They’ll certainly hear it though if it doesn’t meet expectations. If it sounds amazing the hype train will be running full steam ahead. Audiophiles run hot & cold.
That's also very true.

Unless it's super different from their house sound ala Fourte though, I really can't see a very polarizing divide amongst the community.

64's house sound is more or less the baseline of what the HF audience likes.

It’s definitely gonna be an interesting release. If they are indeed using new tech inside, that’d be amazing to see.

I also wanted to mention this, but in the original stream, there was actually one more image of a “driver” that was taken out of the current available video to watch on 64’s YT channel.

It was this image below that I screenshot from the original stream.

I wonder what it could be… and why was it taken out? 👀

Looks like a 429 CI V8 🤣 maybe someone confused their summer project CAD file with the new 64 model.

These are what Daniel mentioned.

I’ve been trying to figure it out since the tease early in the year what that driver could be.

Might be a single planar and single DD hybrid.

So it looks like we where right it appears to be a DD + Planars. Its a very unique and interesting approach as we get the goodness of DD and stellar precision and natural sound of the planars.

My only worries are is it closed back iem and how much frequency range we got here!

I say if its planars then there is no need for tia drivers as planars are better in treble then tia high...

Now a nice DD for sub bass and the good decay of a dd is why we need a dd cause planars dont have the decay of good viby dd effect.

Let's just hope it's not bone conduction. I don't think they have enough lawyers over at UM.
Nobody has guessed the configuration correctly so far
Spill it 😝

AMT as in "Air Motion Transformer" ? like HEDD?

Our "devil" says it's not electrostatic

Yes, that AMT. I don’t think AMT is considered an electrostatic, don’t think it needs an energizer.
