Happy to join the 64Audio club today. May not be a flagship, but they sound pretty great so far. I guess they could be considered "limited edition?"

Welcome to the team. I think I saw that one as a Demo unit. I hope you're enjoying.

I would appreciate some information about the A18s compared to the Tia fourte. I'm new to 64 Audio products and was using a Noble Khan when I recently found a used Tia fourte on Head Fi. I am using it with an SP2000 and Effect Audio Code 51 cable. I enjoy it and being old do not have any problems with the treble. Will I hear less treble with the A18s? Any other significant differences? I have never had a custom IEM and once ear molds can be done would like one. The 20% off sale ends soon and I'd like to order something. Thanks.
I think I posted a somewhat longer comparison in my review, but either way - they both share that speaker-like presentation, with rather similar bass presentation too. The Fourte's DD produces rather fast and controlled bass, not too unlike that of the A18s. The A18s also has a much more linear midrange where you don't have all of the weird dips and peaks of the Fourte, for better or worse. It doesn't sound as ethereal as the Fourte, but it sounds much more tonally correct.

You would hear less treble I think, but the treble is much less peaky and insanely extended, so I don't think there's any reason to not enjoy the treble on the A18s either. Insanely wide staging too, similar to the Fourte in that respect as well.

The A18s is the one IEM from the 64 lineup that I can heavily, heavily recommend - the A18t I feel gets outperformed by some of the newer options in the market, while the U12t is a pretty awesome IEM, but gets quite directly outperformed by the A18s. The N8 might be cool if you're a basshead too, but if you're using the SP2000 you probably aren't

I also asked this on the ThieAudio V14 thread, but does anyone have the V14 and U12t? Care to comment on how they compare?
