While the B stock sale is really tempting I find I'm fiddling more with getting a good seal with multiple tips on my U4SEs.
I'm now in a quandary between A6t and N8T. Has anyone done that comparison?
On tours loved the U18T and U12T, but again not interested in a universal.

it's between A6t and N8t for me.
So you sold your 1950's? I thought they were exceptionally stiff, preferred the 8 wires...

Nope I haven’t sold them yet, need them to go though to help pay for the A18t I ordered.
Oh my, how much gear are you moving for the 18t? I could have sworn you just got the 1950s

I did just get them around the beginning of December :frowning2: I don’t want to sell them at all but having an A18t in addition to my Legend X is far more important than the 1950s.

Right now my priority is to shift the 1950s first, i’ll probably stop there. I was debating getting rid of my SP1000 SS also but I just love it too much.

Anyone who has heard both, which did you prefer - Trio or U12t?

U12t, but strongly recommend A12t. It wasn't always that easy for me to get a perfect seal which you need to get the U12t to sound incredible. The A12t sounds better all the time as the seal is perfect and easy. I wasn't too sure, but some guys told me to go with the ciem and they were right. I have trouble fitting some universals so maybe you might have less issues with fit than I did. The U12t has a long metal nozzle and the Trio has a shorter nozzle. The longer metal nozzle gave me problems because the tips kept sliding down too low with silicone. It's easier to get a seal with foams, but I prefer silicone if possible with universals.

Some people have started recommending taking a tip that you don't use and cutting off the nozzle part. Then cut that part in half if size allows and slide it onto the iem's nozzle. This then stops the issue of having the tip go to far back when you put them in. One word of advice though, don't forget to leave enough room for the tip you plan on using to go on enough so that it won't come off in your ear (another advantage with ciems I suppose).

Quick question to current and previous owners of the U4SE - can the U4SE take both ADEL and Apex modules? Or did it come in two variants (one that can use both and one that can take only the newer Apex)?

First time I've heard of it. That's a good tip and there really should be a raised area on the nozzle as it's really way too long and too many times the tips kept sliding down which lead to bad seals and bad sound.

Does anyone here ordered the 64 Audio Cable with Mic? would like to know if it worth it.

Aside from that, does anyone use other cables with the A12T? what would be a good option?
