@mwhals I know you have the same combination as mine (A12t and Lx). But these days, as more I listen to the Lx I tend to go back to my A12t and like it even more. interesting. How are you feeling there?

PS.: A12t with Ares II cable is a great match.

I go back and forth. Right now it is the LX, but next week it will be the A12t and I find I like it more too. When I go back to the LX, I like it for its sound, but not necessarily more than the A12t. They both sound great, but the A12t is my favorite.

My A12t fits better than Lx too. I think EE is going toward 3D printing in the future. That is probably why 64 Audio does better fits. I suggest trying to give a week to each before switching. I find the longer I listen to Lx, the better it sounds.

Just bought a pair of Noirs! Unfortunately they only had the demo pair at the store, so I’m getting mine in the mail tomorrow, theoretically.

I really like the sound signature. Lush but still precise. More compelling and immediate than the Fourtes, which I auditioned at the same time. If I only listened to classical music I would have gotten the U18s, which I like but are a little too ethereal for an all-use iem, I think.

Having both the U18t and the Noir I fully agree with your assessments!

Also make sure to try the Noir on a straight output instead of balanced - made a huge difference for me and that is when I really fell in love with them
