Don't ruin it for those who like to buy "ropes" to drag around like Flavor Flav
They would ignore it anyway... it is like the burnin topic... same dynamic that you have within a well ingrained religion
Also there will be plenty of sellers claiming the opposite... "ropes" are a massive business in their own right

Cables and their properties are pretty much "hardware" EQ, before digital EQ became a thing.

Unlike what the marketing words coming out of cable maker these days, promising nirvana or reaching the heavens (sarcasm here), cables barely shifts the original sound of the iem/headphone, away from how it sounds from the stock packaging.
I say barely, yet these tiny shifts have audiophiles paying truly eye watering prices for a piece of wire (or wires).

It's all about reaching the sound profile that our ears will stay with and that's really all there is to it.

I've enjoyed cables that are as affordable as a venti starbucks coffee, and others that can get us a an LP P6 Pro dap.

That said, one discovery with the 64 Audio Solo, this iem comes with copper cables.
While the cables offer very musical and richly saturating midrange euphoria, i'd recommend plugging the Solo with very high silver purity cable. My eyes lit up at the difference, a pure silver cable, could bring to the Solo.

Nah it was good that you mentioned it, I want to be aware of the possibilities. Thank you

If you only use them at home in a airconditioned environment I would think you could leave them out all the time? I have no experience with SAE, but normally a airconditioned room should have dry air, no?

all you need to do is buy a package or orange silica gel beads that comes in a sealed package, like ziploc or whatever. i use this but its far more than you need for a pair of iems, really.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01I5Y9H6A/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
get a jar, pantyhose, and another ziploc bag. cut the foot end off a pantyhose and throw half a handful of beads in it, and tie it. so now you have a bunch of beads in your little tied end of pantyhose sac. and after this, every so often put your iems in the jar with the pantyhose sac and seal it for a night. when you take the iems out of the jar, put the pantyhose sac in the other ziploc and store there until next use, and it will stay almost completely fresh for many uses. after several months youll need to replace the beads. now you have a setup that will last you for years with no maintanence, and no buying. I live in a place that gets ridiculously humid in the summer, and take care of ancient coins, meteorites, and iems like this, more or less. it works and theres no fuss no muss. and no heat.
Yea I think I will order some silica. It seems like the general consensus here is either silica or a dehumidifier. Thank you

Exactly this!

Although i purchased a bulk bag of the indicating silica in the correct size that fits in the 64 audio cases

Does anyone know of a way or someone who might be able to repair my 64 audio premium pure silver cable? My 2 pin connector failed in 2 ways at once- one of the pins broke off and was left behind in the iem (fortunately protruding enough to remove from iem), and the plastic casing of the 2 pin connector also split apart. It’s an older cable. The plastic piece I could repair with epoxy, (though aesthetics would be poor) but the 2 pin connector is beyond my skill set.

Maybe try reaching out to Plus Sound Audio in So. Cal - they sell replacement 2-pin connectors, and they may attach them for you as well. Ive had good interactions with them.

Does anyone know how if I could possibly self repair a loose faceplate? It can be moved back and forth but it's not completely off yet, from what I have seen it looks like they use a small adhesive strip to glue it on so any ideas where I could find something similar? Warranty expired as well.

Just a suggestion - for $75 you can get a deep cleaning, a complete checkup, and I’m pretty sure the face plate reattached. I sent my Trio’s in for a loose connection and they came back look close to new.
