We get it, they’re water resistant. You don’t need to walk in a hurricane to prove itFL hurricane: One block away from me. Had to take a walk with Nios on TW2. Same volume I used at home too. That is lightning.50mph wind which almost knocked me over several times and no wind noise, just my music. Pic taken with night mode as it was very dark so sorry about poor quality.

The eye will pass over where I live late tonight or early tomorrow. There was a tornado 20 mins from where I live today. It was hard to take good pics because it was so dark. Tomorrow I will go back if not raining.looks serious. Is it the worst one? or normal

I am not in the market for another IEM but I know people want to know how much someone near them could hear. Any way for you to place cell phone mic by one side and record and post on YouTube or something?Stay safe all folks facing crazy weather.
I enjoyed trying out the solo today.
Open and spacious sound, although not really an out and about IEM.
For inside use, and especially acoustic music, these are thoroughly recommended.

Unfortunately not. Was a demo at a show today and back home now.I am not in the market for another IEM but I know people want to know how much someone near them could hear. Any way for you to place cell phone mic by one side and record and post on YouTube or something?
Surely that depends on volume...I am not in the market for another IEM but I know people want to know how much someone near them could hear. Any way for you to place cell phone mic by one side and record and post on YouTube or something?

By way of comparison the Duo were also open backed, also had a 12db isolation and could not be heard more than a foot away when played at reasonable volume - 35/high output on a HiBy RS6 playing Khruangbin Con Todo El Mundo, Miles Davis In a Silent Way, King Stingray or Shostakovich Symphony #5. Ditto for a AK Sp2000 (same playlist) playing at 60. Played sensibly I'd expect the Solo to have the same (lack of) impact on surrounding people. I look forward to trying them...Played unsensibly, anyone will hear them right up until the drivers (and your ears) fail...
You are only having bad luck ... on the goodgside you are in the US and the sending/receiving back and forth to 64Audio may not cost and take much time-wise and there are no custom charges in between. Just get them back, list them at a "to sell" price on here, cut your losses and close the chapter...My Fourte is back at 64 Audio again! I heard distortion in some classical music tracks in right IEM same day I got it back. The repair manager confirmed that there is an issue. His theory is that one of the drivers coils (I suspect the Tia High from what I heard) got stuck from when it was being shipped back to me even though it was packed well. Has anyone heard of this happening? I would think if it was common it would be reported by lots of people. I have gotten 3 other 64 Audio IEMs this year that were shipped some more than once and none have an issue. I can't wait for that Fourte to be gone from my life!! It is like it is cursed - shipping issue from seller to bad drivers and then again likely bad driver. Only 64A IEM I am keeping is the Trio. Nio is traded and Fourte will be sold or binned but not before I take a sludge hammer to them.
I agree with you. Cut my losses and move on. We all have one buy that goes bad. I got a really good trade offer I could not say no to. The Nio is great and the new owner will love them. I offered up the Fourte, Trio and Nio and was suprised he did not take the Trio as the Nio I had all the modules for and could tune it depending on my mood. I got over $2300 worth of IEMs for the Nios including a CA iem which is my first. Going to keep the Trio. I still am really loving the KSE. Fallen in love with extreme detail. Have to use right tips and EQ. If you have Wavelet try FiR M5 setting out on your Trio which I discovered by accident because I was using that with the Kse on my Dap.You are only having bad luck ... on the goodgside you are in the US and the sending/receiving back and forth to 64Audio may not cost and take much time-wise and there are no custom charges in between. Thought that you were so much in love with your Nio from your previous messages... what happened?
