Not really a right forum to post this in just chose amps because the traffic seems about right. Not too much nor too little.
Anyways, just searching for a little upgrade advice.
My current system: EVS Modded Samsung HD-841-->Atlas Questor IC's-->Gilmore Lite-->Grado HF-87/SR-225/SR-80
I have the following upgrades in mind:
- Headamp GS-2? w/ stepped attenuator
- Grover UR 4 IC's
- Superclock III & WBT jack upgrade
- Jon Risch Power Conditioner & Surge Protector
I am really interested in the GS-1 but I am planning on keeping the Lite for another year or so or until an updated module is released for the GS-1. I was planning to buy the conditioner next but as I have fairly clean power I am afraid I won't get a startling sound quality improvement like the New York crew seem enjoy.
So, should I go for the JR conditioner or Grover IC's in the near future or start saving up for the GS-1 or Superclock III?
