Hm, they probably sound a bit less satisfying than the CT790/590

Although since the 120-hour battery life of the CT800 is for MP3 playback, the CD-DA battery life probably hasn't changed.

Wouldn't J-pop fans love to see three glowing buttons on Ayumi Hamasaki

SL-CT800 has been in the shops in Sweden for more than a month now. I haven't listened to the player but had it in my hand. It didn't feel very sturdy, especially the remote.

Nice to see you, again. Those new PCDP's look like frisbees. I wonder if/when portable CD players will start to sound better.......

Well, the sound quality from PCDPs seems to have bottomed out right now - and will stay there for the foreseeable future.
