Cool, this should be fantastic. VSonic always represents value and at that price, it would make for an interesting comparison to the Zero Audio Tenores/Bassos and the VSD1.

Have the other designs (planar, etc.) been abandoned in favor of more typical multi-BA designs?
 
Maybe I mis-read earlier reports about these and should ask: What are the designs going to be?

Unless its a weird reflection on several of the translucent renders, it looks like there's an angled dynamic driver in there and it's just a similar over ear design to the multi BA models from Shure and Westone.

I may be wrong.

Yeah, I noticed that, but I (mis)remembered (or made up*) something about multi-ba designs in a previous thread on these.

It might be all smoke and mirrors. Make them think it's a dynamic and then BAM! And not the FAD kind.

I have one, it looks cool.
