  Any news on the GR07 successor? I see Lendmeurears is out of the GR07s now, which has me quite sad as I just got a loaner GR07 BE and I'm frankly in love with it...

I wouldn't hold my breath - aside from the gr07 Classic they haven't released anything of what they were supposed to in the past 4 months, so I doubt whether the new flagships will even be released before the summer or even this year.

I know there are a few places where I can buy them new, but frankly I'm a cheap *** and I'd rather buy them used so I don't lose as much money when I do eventually sell them off.

Yeah, probably the best decision. There is just no info on the new vsonic flagships and while they might be released in the coming months, they might also be released in a year. That's why I just gave up on waiting and went for another iem and I have no regrets.

We can talk over PM, but I'll go ahead and say here that it has been such a long time since I heard the TF10 (and it was the first hi-fi IEM I heard) that I don't really remember anything about it. From the reviews I read on the UE900 though when I was looking at buying it, it's less V-curved than the TF10. The balanced armatures just can't do it for the closet basshead in me though.

I really wish they could have made  them with black matte rubberized coat,
love that soft touch feeling and look.

I wonder if that's the VSD5 coz it's black and not red and whether both will have detachable cable? Anyway, I'm not super impressed with the looks - Vsonic's CEO claimed he spent more than $120k just for the housings and supposedly they were to be of high-end quality but these look like they were designed by Picasso and made of the cheap looking VSD1's plastic and the gr04's cable to complete the mismatched appearance. I prefer the simpler VSD1 design, so these better sound really good after that delay and the sub-par looks. Of course, it's possible that the model in the pictures is a prototype made from some of the materials they had lying around - VSd1's plastic and a gr04's cable, so the final design might look better.

Yeppp agreed dat glossy cheapo plastic housing looks like schiit!!! Lordy lord, where is dat sexcee matte black housing that was shown in those pics. BOOOOOO!!!
 
Hope the one that was pictured is just a beta version/ prototype cuz if real. MAD DISAPPOINT.
