The New Enleum AMP-23R Amplifier (Successor to Bakoon AMP-13R) Thread

Enleum is more softer, musical, full body, tube like sound, Niimbus is more agressive, punchy, dynamic, euphoric sound.

Imo Enleum is great with delta sigma and Chord DACs and Niimbus is great with R2R.

Very interesting! I've not heard the Nimbus, but I've got an Enleum hooked up to an MSB Analog DAC, which is a 'ladder' DAC, and yes indeed, super musical, full-bodied, and more tube-y than Chord-y, for sure. Dunno about 'softer', but maybe that's just because I don't listen to soft music! Through LCD-5's, ass is kicked!

This is good to know, it’ll be pairing a Holo May KTE, still very interested in the Enleum maybe I’ll have to try and find one to pair with a used TT2 or something.

Random question. from pictures on the back of the 23r it looks like the device has an AC voltage range from 100-240. So essentially any 23r unit can take the voltage from US, EU, AU etc. I know some amps are 110 or 240 but not both (specified on order), others have a switch (like my Formula S), but the Enluem looks ready to go for any region in that voltage range (I think my Brooklyn Bridge is the same). Please let me know if this is the case.

If anyone wants to trade their 13r or 23r for an Abyss TC and superconductor please DM me.

thanks.

Excited to be joining the Enleum family here in the next few weeks! Should be getting a shipping notice sooner than later.

Does anyone know a way to reset the "gain phase" knob? I recently noticed that the 1st dot is no longer the mute position...

I seem to recall someone experienced the same in the past - can anything be done to fix it? Thanks for any tips in advance.

Don't tell iFi! :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

We encourage our reps to support other brands we genuinely love wherever applicable.

As Enleum is for the most part, in an entirely in a different space than the stuff we make, it's no big deal

We even have another 23r in the EU.

It makes for a brilliant pairing with our Pro iDSD Signature, from what I've heard.

Busted! But in all seriousness it's OK, this is a speaker amp after all :D

Besides, as per Seb's post above we (enthusiasts) like to support other manufacturer's work as well. It's all good!

I find the Enleum very dynamic with great punch through my DAVE. Hardly tube-like whatsoever.

Have you been using it strictly with hard to drive cans like the Susvara and Abyss or with other normal cans like (my) Utopia etc.

I have a Donald North Stellaris inbound however I have been getting itchy fingers looking to possibly swap out my GSX MK2 and GSX mini into a new SS amp.

And as an additional question has anyone compared the Enleum to a GSX MK2 or Mini - once again running normal efficient headphones like the Utopias?
