I am checking the power calculator tool http://www.digizoid.com/headphones-power.html

+10 DB means 10 times more loudness so 10 times more power. Necessary power of the 120 dB SPL must be exact 10 times of the 110 dB (similarly 110 to 100 dB) but they are not. What causes the little errors ?

dB is not a linear scale (it is logarithmic). Every 3 dB equal to a doubling of power, IIRC.

If this were a Cary Audio thread then your stories would at least have relevance, but as a forum sponsor still be totally devoid of propriety.

FWIW...After 80 hours I'm not hearing anymore changes on the a2c. Sounds fully burned in at this point. Pro tip: if you want to burn in go ahead and collapse the headband. This will compress the pads together slightly and you'll get less noise to disturb others when you're getting these fully burned.

Did you notice the sound stage increasing with burn in? I'm probably at about 20 hours and the sound stage keeps opening up. I keep forgetting I'm not wearing an open version.

Clearly power alone does not equal quality, but power output does equal volume. To ask if a source can drive a headphone properly is like asking how long is a string. There is no right answer. Define properly for your needs. Is it loudness, warmth, soundstage? What makes a good source is the implementation of the design and to ask about power is too simple of a question to determine ‘adequate’ sound, especially if mixing subjective preferences. You didn’t like the Mojo with the AEON but the Mojo can technically drive it well. Maybe you just didn’t like the tuning of the Mojo which is on the warm and smooth side. Doesn’t mean it’s deficient with the AEON, it means you don’t like the pairing.

look for an amplifiers’ output impedance, damping factor, slew rate, crosstalk, etc., to figure out if the amp is well designed once you know it has enough power for your listening level. Or better yet, audition different sources and figure it out like the rest of us. I wouldn’t recommend a smartphone as a source even though it may get loud enough. If you want a specific answer maybe be more specific in your questions, including your subjective preferences so others can better help you find an answer.

Every 10 decibels of increment increases the loudness and the required power by 10 times.

That calculator http://www.digizoid.com/headphones-power.html seems to have problems. I input 100 dB/mW sensitivty and by the definition an exact 1 mW should be required for 100 dB of loudness but the calculator shows 0.96 mW for some reason. The result varies with the inputed impedance although it shouldn't and it is never an exact 1.
