The movie: "Shooter"

Just saw it. Great movie. A lot of plot twists, make sure you pay close attention, you'll pick up some foreshadowing early on in the movie. You'll want to see it again after you watch it just to make sure you catch all the twists.

Makes me want to go kill some oil-mongers and kick a little corrupted ass. Figuratively of course.

Yeah, I think the movie has some interesting plot, but about relationship.... all I can say is that it is kind of hmm... ur....... messy?

It was a phenomenal movie except I thought they could have done a better ending...but I figured they realized "OH **** we have a two hour long movie, we better end it."

I mean they just could have told what happened to the FBI guy and if the girl and him got together.

It's called sequels.

Shooter isn't exactly cutting edge, except for the rather strong libertarian theme, but a very good movie of it's type. The plot's coherent, the firefights are excellent, the gunplay is realistic, the good guys win, and the bad guys die. What more can you ask for? Last movie I enjoyed this much was Casino Royale.

I'm curious about Shooter. Seems lots of comparisons to the Borne films (as was Casino). How do you guys think it compared?

Shooter was alright, but it could have been better. Certainly the bourne films were more entertaining and intelligent. Shooter is a good netflix selection!
