"The Lab"

The e80 are amazeballs.

I would put my a73 just a hair ahead of them in terms of sq, but remember the e80 is 1/3 the price.

Somebody else on the Lab needs to give them a try.

+1.  A73 above E80 and A83   I started to work on review last night, didn't get anywhere because I spent an hour listening to A73 non-stop...

For EDM and vocals the a73 is a beast. Grain free, warm tilt, and sonically addicting.

E80 is more natural and organic, the a73 is more detailed and entertaining IMHO

Absolutely man!  Always a matter of personal taste, and for those who want a more organic and flatter sound - E80 is a king all the way, and damn awesome value too!  A73 has a fun sound with a detailed bass texture that makes you warm and cozy inside

That dynamic driver slams you with a quality and a polite mid-bass boost, while still keeping low end under control.  If you want a more detailed brighter sound, E80 is the way to go.  A73 is smooth, warm, detailed, and perfect for extended listening.

To me the E80's are at least on par with the Titans , that's how good they sound

Fiio EX-1 http://www.shenzhenaudio.com/fiio-ex1-hifi-high-professional-dynamic-in-ear-earphones-headphones.html

Fiio brand but Dunu still engraved on the IEM. No titanium driver information yet though. If Fiio is planning on using the same naming scheme from their players, maybe we will soon see an EX-3, EX-5, EX-7. Who knows?

There was an element of sarcasm behind my sentiments.

I do appreciate Bob's transparency on the thread. I will say though, I would be more excited about the next wave of trinity products if I had my hands on the first wave of products that I paid for in early May. I understand there are speedbumps and delays. I just wish I was enjoying the trio I ordered before hearing about the new models. I'm sure there's others on here who agree with me.

This is not a dig against Bob or their new company. His honesty is appreciated. However, it would be nice to experience the heralded monitors for myself.

Just an update. They hired two more staff just to get the KS orders out quickly. So shouldn't be too long.
