Philips SHP9500? Bright and detailed with decent, not overly assertive bass... and the price is right if they drop on Massdrop or NewEgg again!

Yup ...read that DSnut was talking about it at teh Discovery thread ..its going for 50+$ at some online store called New something sounding but they sell for close to $230 here locally ..its a shame the pricing here for some stuff ..hahhaaa

I'll check those out Alex, thanks for the suggestions.

My favorite dubstep to date (and to be honest I don't listen to too much of it) is "Recess" by Skrillex. That one is awesomesauce from beginning to end.

I remember listening to that album the day it came out on google music all access. I wasn't very impressed at the time, especially compared to bangerang and scary monsters and sprites.
But I'm listening to it again now and it definitely sounds good through dragonfly 1.2 dac and m50x

. A little different from the earlier stuff but still good!

I'll have to check it out. Since music is on the topic, any trap or EDM fans. I see you twister for EDM(also known as the other Alex

)...
I really like the dj, Vanic. Almost all his newer stuff is great. His newest is my least fav, but it's still decent.

This song, his second newest, though: https://soundcloud.com/djvanic/vanic-x-tove-styrke-borderline

And these three, which are different artists... Check em' out if you want! https://soundcloud.com/diplo/will-calls-diplo-remix

Also @Wokei, I might be in the minority but I really like the MA900, since it's one of the best I have heard and owned to date. The mids are phenomenal, with decent bass of good quality for an open HP, and polite but somewhat revealing treble. Better than My past headphones: Philips CitiScape Uptown and Yamaha HPH-200. Hope it helps! Happy information and note collecting buddy

Maybe not strictly EDM but some of my favorite electronic artist albums are: Immersion by Pendulum, Celldweller (1st album, self titled), Vicious Delicious by Infected Mushroom, Path of Totality (technically by Korn, but mixed with various electronic artists... tons of others I can't think of right now

Finally managed to organize my eartips. Never did this before and my eartips were sitting in multiple places making it hard to tip roll. Today I'm a happy man. And enjoying music with Xduoo X2 + ED9 / B3 Pro 1. This player pairs really well with B3 pro 1 for sure, without need of any amp.

Very nice! Which universal tips in your opinion are your most favorite to use?

Sony foam-filled hybrids are best for comfort and fit. I just wish they made narrow and wide bore versions...

Thanks for the reply. Glad you feel that those are the best for you. Maybe you can contact them and get Sony (oh whichever company creates the tips) to create narrow and wide-bore versions in the future.
