Kurt,

Looks like it's going to be a very nice amplifier. Balanced out. Balanced in, too? And what headphones do you expect to drive with your DynaMight?

The picture here show unbalanced RCA jacks.

I guess I don't understand. The step attenuator has four sections to it.

That, and there are two power supply boards, and I'm pretty sure each power board feeds a pair of Dynahi amp boards. Unless they decided on a separate power board for each Dynahi board. Doubt it though.

My guess is the amp will be designed to accept either balanced or unbalanced audio input, and the only one we saw pictured was the unbalanced.

Exactly. And the Amp is not finished yet.

For now it is a HD650 and the Prophonic 2XS that I will use with it. I asked Sensaphonic to make a break away cable with XLR connectors.

Later I might will try a K 1000.

Kurt, these pics are beautiful. No doubts about the craftmanship. I hope you'll get it soon

If all goes as well as it looks, I imagine your DynaMight will sound excellent.

Admittedly, I would have expected custom enclosures for such a venture. The Parmetals cases do not really do justice to the (first?) balanced Dynahi. Also, Why only two PSUs? It is my understanding that the Dynahi must have four PSUs for true balancing. I do understand that the dual PSU system is more than capable of providing for the power requirements of the amplifier. I will defer to Kevin on this one.
