@BenF Do you still have the audio file for burning the headphones ? The "White-Pink-Brown Noise (For burn in).wav" link from dropbox doesn't work anymore, I want to burn some headphones but I don't know if that file is a blend of the three noises or they are played one after each other. Could be really helpful to have it.

They are played sequentially.
You can download files from one of these links and play them in loop:
https://www.audiocheck.net/testtones_index.php
https://archive.org/details/TenMinutesOfWhiteNoisePinkNoiseAndBrownianNoise
Or you can use this one:

I think you will really enjoy Takstar GM200 - it's a perfect basshead headphone, read the full review here: https://www.head-fi.org/threads/tak...scussion-thread.849965/page-197#post-15148815
You can find a 5$ discount code in that review, so it will only cost you 56.5$.[/user]

I'm not exactly a bass lover, but I have always loved the bass in the JVC stereo systems, still the HAS500 are around $40usd. I'm probably will have that thorn under my skin until I get to taste the CNTs
Thanks for the audio links.

@BenF
One more question. Does it really worth the extra cost of the HAS680 over the HAS500 ?

Currently the amazon of my country has the S500 in $40 with shipping included, but the S680 are really hard to get.(at a decent price).

@TylerC I would say its a marginal improvement, mostly just comfort and seal.

Sound quality is very comparable.

Just got my red pair back from my wife. Since she got the Mpow M5 she has not looked back. I added dynamat to the cups. Tamed the bass a bit and added some sparkle. They still need eq for the "stuffy" treble. Any bass head would love these. They almost jump off my head with bass heavy music. Definitely a baby SZ2000.

But how much better ? It's actually $20 usd expensive than the S500
I already have the HyperX Core (which are supposed to be the Cloud II which are some takstar pro 80)
GM200 sounds nothing like Pro 80.
It sounds closer to Fostex TH900MK2, but without the treble peak - see my review at the link above.

Ordered one of these again on January 10th.

Last time I had them back in July 2014, I didn't care for them because I found them overly boomy, but I didn't burn them in using the method in the first post, yet they still had that sweet CNT exclusive timbre that no other headphone I've heard except for the S400 (which is too uncomfortable for me) has.

This time I'm gonna put on some Shure 1540 pads (that should tame some boom right away) and maybe put some cotton in the cups, depending if the treble is resonant or not.

Anyone in USA still have them and wants to sell it , pm me 😁
Good luck with that!
I have two pair, and I really like them so I'll be keeping them.
It's kinda sad how hard these are to find now.
