I thought I read here on head-fi from around August 2009. Someone mentioned they had a capacity to do about 10 earphones per day. I hope that number has gone up. I will try to find the thread.

then the Inevatble showdown between 13's and 16's can begin. As we know if we've done our homework, for the most part they shouldn't sound overly different in a controlled recording but I'm still itching to know none the less

Judging from the size of the company that seems reasonable, but presumably not all of those will be JH16 Pros. Also, it is hard to say how different--if any--the new flagship manufacturing and Q/A process is and what is the associated learning curve. I'm sure they can't afford any quality issues with them in general and that goes double with the initial batch and review units.

The colour is solid deadwood. The text is by request but they won't charge you for any text or logos that is JHAudio related. Say the flying girl for instance.

Those might fit into this here pair of ears. Deadwood is the color, by the way. They had another Deadwood pair in their Facebook album, and I loved the look.

My impressions got there today.. and we have a 2-3 week wait.

I don't know if if I should be happy or sad to hear that. Could be worse I suppose.

edit: is that 2-3 weeks until they start working on them or until delivery?
