yeah, i don't know how much of OS X is needed to run coverflow...and if that's the only real change on the nano (in addition to playing video files), i'm not sure if OS X is necessary on the nano.

but presumably OS X will be on the full-screen ipod, just like it is on the iphone.

If ipod video same size screen as iphone, why not just buy the iphone? 8GB is very small, but with all the extras you're getting that might work.
I'm thinking of iphone, will see if the up to 16GB and the cons. of ipod video. Wouldn't be suprized if I choose iphone + new nano, phaty or whatever the name would be...
