Same here but plugged into some years old, generic, non high powered Anker charger lol
With regards to the player falling out, shoe string also works as a temporary safeguard.

Spot on!The Korg Tubes inside the N8ii is what a good 300B and Western Electric 300B would sound like,
Yes I always do this, even with all my previous DAPsI always charge with the players off.
Unless you want to use the charge limiter, in which case you'll need to charge with it on.Spot on!

I don’t really use the charge limiter. I use my desktop setup most of the time, so not really a heavy user of DAPs and IEMs.Unless you want to use the charge limiter, in which case you'll need to charge with it on.
Same here, I have a few 1TB cards all full of music and the scanning is very fast. Personally, I think the N8ii overall has done very well and met all my personal requirements in a unit. It is of high standards to me. If we all look at how the previous N8 was, if we all can live with that, I would say the N8ii is very luxurious Bottom line is the sound. I was willing to buy it just for the balanced on 4.4 on nutubes even if I didn't get all the other perks of the new features.I have 1TB micron MicroSD and a few albums in DSD512 with some good collections that is 90% of the card capacity. I have no problems scanning the cards to play back music. Each time when I have new folders written on the card, I do a specific folder scan and it is all good again

LOL no it'll be awhile.... transferred 183gb of MP3 44/320 and FLAC 192s earlier. Now transferring 463gb DXD, DSD 256-512s from NativeDSD.
Card I used earlier was a 512gb Sandisk Extreme Pro that I popped out of my 3MAX temporarily for burn in.

another problem I encountered is the double tap wake up screen function does not work correctly while charging if the charger is not grounded. have to tap few more times to wake up.
however, if the charger is grounded (e.g. ifi ipower elite), it works correctly.
