the new firmware seems to be cleaner with quite an intimate sound... i need a few more days to listen to it... but for me its positive changes...

Just updated to 1.8.0
 
It seem more power for me, I set volume at180 sound louder than with my previous FW the SU.
More transparent with Piston 2 , I recognized treble more open.,slightly V-shaped.
Scanning library faster,....

Yup. Oh and remember to check the hidden menu by switching the lock button on when turn on the device (Codec, iir filter, CPU), recommended setting is FLAC/IIR Off/Default (note that this can only play FLAC, just switch to all/lossless for more type of file)
