This amp is the reason I went with a DX300. I was disappointed when they discontinued the 300 and assumed they wouldn’t make any additional hardware for it. I was pleasantly surprised to be able to purchase the Amp13. It arrived yesterday and I haven’t given it a proper listen yet, but hoping it will match the Cayin N3Pro as far as a portable tube sound.

It will be my first tube experience when I can get one and I'm looking forward to it.

I originally bought the N3Pro on a Black Friday deal, assuming it was the least expensive way to hear tubes. The Amp13 doesn’t drastically alter the sound as far as I can tell- but with the N3Pro you can quickly switch between solid state, ultra linear and triode. This makes for a very easy comparison- not possible with the DX300. It would be cool to have two units side-by-side, one with amp 11 and the other with Amp13, so I could hear what kind of color the nutube is adding.
