I decided to make this thread since there have been alot of "(Shippers name here) lost my package" type threads, and due to the fact that I am currently experiencing another shipping issue.

It seems like 2 out of every 3 packages I have had shipped to me from UPS either show signs of damage, or get lost. It first started with soggy HD600s, then a lost hard drive, then damaged skis, and now missing HD650 grilles and pads. Does any one else seem to have a problem with UPS?

Wow, looks like you've run into a lot of bad luck. I've probably had over a hundred transactions with UPS over the past, oh, four years or so, and I've never had a problem with a single one. When UPS loses something like that, is there anything you can do, or is it just lost money?

Well, the skis I couldn't, even though they were new (would have made a claim on bindings, but the store that shipped them NEVER picked up), and for the grilles and pads, Sennheiser is dealing with them, and in the case that they are not located, they will be replaced free of cost. Senn service is great!

To add to that, I find it quite funny that when I first got my skis they were shipped USPS in a box with nothing in it, just the skis with a strap spacing them apart and they came in perfect condition (no plastic wrap), and yet UPS charged $150 to ship them with their packaging, and yet they came with broken bindings and several scratches.

I personally have received lots of packages during the years, and so far not had any problems. All packages arrived in time, and without any external (or internal for that matter) damage.

What is the process if the package is delivered to the wrong adress? Tracking says it was delivered to my back door, yet my back door is gated, and my dogs were outside at the time. I searched all around, even my neighbors house, and found nothing. How do they do claims in such situations?

UPS is pretty good. Maybe it's just your delivery guy/route? My delivery guy is pretty cool and doesn't do the crazy things that people on here have posted about.. I've never lost a package with UPS.
On the other hand.. USPS sucks! I've only lost one package, and that wasn't too long ago.. Bought SAT/regents practice books through Amazon, hoping that they'd ship before I went out of the country, but it turns out that they lost them

Now, I've contacted Amazon and they're resending my package, this time through UPS. Too bad I won't get them for another two weeks..

Well, it actually seems that everyone has different experiences with different companies. Probably their route/delivery guy?

Other than slow service to my neck of the words I can't fault UPS/DHL/Fedex much. I've had a couple cracked cd cases, but that's as likely to be the fault of the ebayer I bought them from.

USPS on the other hand I go through a dark ritual of sorts every time I expect a package. Normally, it involves me yelling at them to stop holding my packages unless I tell them to, and that I don't have 2 forms of picture ID period when they ask me. Followed by them giving me what I ask for unwilling to make a further scene. I'm hoping that for my 10th time they forgo me yelling at them and just hand me my stuff.

No signature. UPS is lucky I havent followed through with my damage claims, or they would be facing at least $600 in binding damage from my skis. Luckily my sponsor has my ass covered for such things. This is the last straw though, I am sick of having my stuff screwed around with by UPS.

When I ordered my SR60's (which I already have!) it took the company less than 24 hours to deliver the package. On 20'00 wednesday i ordered the headphones, on 15'30 the day after a guy called me and said my package had arrived. I was simply amazed !

And today i picked them up.

Got me a DAC that has been stuck in customs for a full week now, "Awaiting presentation to customs commissioner".

Hope that's not a fancy way of saying they lost it or damaged it or something.
