>200 mW (32 Ω/THD<1%)

not seeing a power rating listed for 16 ohm on their site

>300 mW (32 Ω/THD+N<1%) for the e18

E18 and e17 are about the. Suggest you grab something with at least e12 or cayin c5 power. If you really want to take it the level of the vids.

Or just use the e17 to see how you like it first.

I was gonna ask, are e12 and c5 about the same levels of power?
i was looking for a secondhand C5 to get one again cause i miss it but if E12 is basically the same i could go for one of those too.

Taction Cannon doesn't seem to be on Amazon, yet.

The only way to order the Kannon is to back the Kickstarter:
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/2053327139/kannon-headphones-accurate-bass-you-can-feel

They may be on Amazon eventually, but that is probably 2 years away, at this point.

The good news is, you can get the preorder price of $299 by backing the Kickstarter. Once they are on Amazon, etc., the price goes up to $499.

Also, these guys have about $20,000 left to raise in the next 3 days, so if you guys want this to happen at all, they are going to have to sell about 70 more Kannons between now and Sunday evening.

Really? Only IGG or kickstarter? If they don't make their goal, are they not going to manufacture them?

That's how Kickstarter works. If you don't hit the goal, you don't get the money and the backers pay nothing.

I really do hope it works out for these guys. The more I play with this demo unit, the more I like it.

I did the paper test with the Kannon Open prototype. BR000TZ!!!!! LOL! See results here:

Please excuse the rattle. The glue came loose on part of the logo tab on the prototype the other night.

It is easily fixed by simply pushing it back down, but I don't have the time to fix it at reshoot the video. I think you guys all understand that this isn't the final production version of the build, anyway. Right?

Yeah so I was thinking ill keep the e17k for on the go and then if I do need more power ill grab something like the K5 for Home (I would be doing most of the listening at home anyways)

Is there a big difference between the J.V.C HA-SZ2000 and the SZ1000's ?

The price difference between the two would almost pay for the K5

Are Taction an off-shoot of AudioTechnica?

No, but I believe they source some parts from the same OEM. The open proto appears to be built in an AT body.
