@bigshot Im a fan of real life experiences. Here an example of a music fan wanting to listen to music. 14 hours. 28 miles and a marathon over 11,000ft:
Used the Radsone ES100 with some Shuoer EJ07 $850 bux iems.
Played em for nearly this entire outdoor hike. You can hate if you want. I just let the music drive me.
I honestly don't know what you're talking about. Are you talking about battery life, or storage, or size or what? You seem to know what you're saying though, so I'm just letting you go on about it.
Cool. I highly recommend the Radsone ES100 mobile amp since it allows you to not be tethered to a phone. It sounds great for almost any kind of headphone and in the end you can replace it and your headphone cables if you break them for not too much money.
Far as space concerns, you are stuck with apple which means you cant enjoy a nice micro-sd slot. Which also means you are stuck with a dongle setup or streaming... neither of which a real mobile warrior will deal with.
Things like that matter. I call this a DAP taken to it's logical conclusion.
I have absolutely no problem with a tiny card reader or streaming. They both work and sound great. Super convenient because I can carry an infinite amount of music. I would rather carry a dongle for my phone than carry a separate DAP. I already carry my phone. Does that make sense?
My on the go kit is my phone and AirPods Pro and a card reader the size of a quarter. All that fits in a single shirt pocket. And with that kit I can go all day without needing to plug in.
So beside this interesting attempt at finding out who's got the bigger schwartz, should we conclude that a portable rig is crap unless we can use it while scuba diving?
