There are a decent number of impressions from people who got a short listen at canjam. I think a lot of the people who got the first 25 are still getting used to theirs, so the rest of us are waiting until mid june when todd ships them out. Not much new information unless some of the 25 decide to chip in.

they're limited, but todd hasn't said what the limit is yet. Probably once the rush of orders dies down, they'll announce the end date. I'd guess til the end of July.

Not sure if it is limited by run or limited by date. Todd seemed to indicate at Canjam that there would be a cut-off date to be announced but that if you got in before you would be OK.

I'm going to make a wild guess and say that there will be between 500-700 of these made.

The poor economy and higher price than the HF-1 doesn't help. At the same time people realize how good the HF-1 was and is for the price so there may be more for that reason. Then there are going to be some speculators who order expecting to flip it.

I expect that once orders slow down and the end of ordering announcement is made there will be one last burst of orders from those who were sitting on the fence.

But it's a really tough time nowadays now with GM finally caving in to bankruptcy and all that. Indonesia had it really bad too 10 years ago during the Asian Economic Crisis.

Anyway, I assume this production run will be more than the previous 481. Maybe to help keep the unobtanium markup to a min, as a few folk suggested elsewhere in this thread. Who knows?
