The FitEar CIEM Impressions Thread

Zerketi Hey sorry to be the bearer of bad news but Fitear (and the resellers) won't sell to you unless you have a Japanese residency card and you personally live in Japan.

Even for the Togo series you need the card as they are now all made to order as well.

@CobraVerde is it possible to get someone else living in Japan to buy the CIEM for me though? That is, everything is sent to their address while the impression would be mine

When I got mine made you had to have your impressions done at one of the approved audiologists in Japan. In Tokyo that was at the Fitear offices in Ginza. Pretty sure they will not accept impressions mailed in from another source unless it's via one of their distributors.

After trying out 334 and 333 down at JabenSG. I like the clarity and the overall neutral sound of 333. 334 is completely different and far more warmer than 334 which gives me an impression that is a bit veiled in the highs. I ordered 333 and was told the lead time is 3 months.

I hope it arrive sooner.

I find it difficult to compare without having my NT-6 side by side with 333. So based on memory (please take this with a grain of salt) 333 presents detail in a layer which makes the soundstage deeper. While NT-6 prsents most elements in front so the soundstage appears shallow. Also 333 overall is not as bright as NT-6.

Tried monet17 and Aya today and compared it with 333. 333 is still the better phone in terms of clarity and overall balance. Nothing is highlighted just reveals all details accross the board. Monet17 in comparison is warmer with a hint of coloration in upper mids. Aya on the other hand is mid-centric. defintely lacking in bass and rolled if treble.

Oh hey, you're the guy I sat next to in Jaben :D

I prefer the 334 the most out of everything. 333 is too dry and 335 is warm to a fault. The 334 has that super friendly tonality that ticks a lot of my boxes.

Yeah I was, just completing demo of all fitear models. 334 is still warmer for my taste and I value clarity and an overall neutral signature. each fitear is unique, one must try every model to find what suits there preference. price and driver/x-over configuration doesn't indicate which model is better that other.
