The FitEar CIEM Impressions Thread

hi all I currently have ier-z1r and looking for some real upgrade. is dc ti or creator a good choice? are they real upgrade from the sony?

what different between dc ti and creator other than creator whole body is ti?
If you like the sound of the IER-Z1R but want better technical performance, the upgrade would be the IER-M9.

Sonys sound signature is unique, if you change to FitEar, it will be different sound signature, that's for sure.

So it's more a change than an upgrade

@littlexx26 Where are you based? FitEar generally has only ADs in Asia. I recall they might have outside Asia for only universals.

@RPKwan My friend, I had the universal demo unit of the DC Ti for about a week. And now I have been listening to the custom version. I think, if you really love the DC Ti, you should consider getting a custom for this. I do find the consistency and perfect seal does bring out the best in the DC Ti. And there is this special 3D quality that is emphasized when the shell is fitted right next to the conch of your ear. :)

I am really enjoying the DC Ti pairing with the 009 Aqua. I can understand why this Suyama san‘s favourite pairing. The Japanese do wonderful work with all manner of copper cables, including SPC ones. :)

I have to agree with @Kiats wholeheartedly. The level of comfort is unbelievable, even by customs standards. Not sure if I'd call it a perfect seal but the way it sits in the ear, maybe the conch like described, when pushed in a little, creates another level of 'seal', and then the sound goes up another notch or two. It really is quite unlike other IEMS I have heard.

Great album to listen to with the DC Ti -- the love for the DC Ti is really flying! 😊

Other than having some minor irritation trying to tame the wild wild Aqua, the sound has been quite astounding, can only put it down to the synergy of cable pairing. Maybe if I boiled the Aqua, it will soften up some hmm...

TBH the universal fits me perfectly, I am blessed with adaptable ears 😂. Will consider but at the moment I'm incredibly satisfied with my DC Ti.

Heheh! No longer alone in this. :)
Hello @Kiats,

I you had some time spent now with the DC Ti customs, what are your impressions about Classical Music ?
Compared to the C435 for ex ? Do the estat drivers bring more openness ? Or more consistency to the high ?
How the experience can be described ?
Regards,
Claude.

Hey @cladane !

The answer is a resounding yes!!! the soundstage and head room is very impressive. It is very balanced as well. The treble extension is excellent and yet so smooth. I think you will love this one. There is also added body from the balance of the dual DDs. I still get wowed when I listen to it. :)

It goes beyond the estat drivers. It is also the titanium shells. :)

Thank you @Kiats for your return.
I have to contact Jaben to see if they can take orders from France.

How do L&P daps compare to the M9 regarding the pairing with the DC ?
Do you think I could be happier with the L&P connected to my iPhone than with the M9 ?

Claude.

I think LP DAPs actually make any IEM sound good. I think it would certainly be lighter if you were looking at the P6Pro. Which incidentally has a great LDAC implementation for streaming from android devices. :)

Well, I was looking at streaming from my iPhone.
What are the differences between all those L&P P6 versions ?

Does anyone have any experience with pairing cables from Creator Cables with Fitear IEMs? They seem quite heavy duty

https://creatorcable.com/

Heavy, ergonomically poor and vastly overpriced for its sonic performance IMO. Build quality is great though, and the fiber jacket is durable. I have owned the Silver 4 with Fitear connectors.
