James,

What is:
Sound Track manage: Deleted, Custom “ Favorites Play List.

Can you elaborate? Thanks

Sorry, deleted means you can deleted one sound track in X3 directly, favorites play list means you can add a sound track into favorites play list

Thanks for the answer. So both "favorite" and unlimited no. of user-defined playlists are allowed? if so what's the format of playlist file?

Let me first say that the X3 looks very svelte indeed.  I noticed that whether or not the front of the player has brushed metal on the face differs from render to render.  Do you happen to know which finish the final product will have? The brushed finish is much to my liking for appearances as well as endurance/ scratch resistance!

All that info is in the first post

That'll teach me to read everything twice before asking, but to be fair I was thrown back with the sampling frequencies and so, but yeah, I see now that it supports both.

I have 99% windows hardware, and WMA is DOA. No one uses it any longer,...but to each their own. Besides, your name is "mp3", and you prefer WMA. Funny,...:p

FLAC would be great, but then there are tag problems with many players, WAV is too big, I don't do Apple formats, so that pretty much leaves me with WMA lossless and/or 320 MP3. A player that supports what I need, is a player I want

Well, I've been on the hunt for a new DAP and I think now I'm going to have to just keep my eye on this here.  I've wondered for a while why FiiO didn't have its own DAP and now I see its been under development all this time!
