Just placed a order through Aliexpress as a original X3 owner for a X3ii.  The cost with shipping is $159.  Let's see how long it will take Fiio to ship to Japan.  I will keep you all posted.

Anyone worrying about AliExpress and shipping.
I ordered my X3ii on Friday. (10th) Price adjusted on Monday (13th).
Shipped with DHL and tracking number given today. (14th).

Now just waiting...
What do you think the chance is to arrive in 10 days to UK?
After that I am flying abroad for 8 days...

If its DHL express there is a chance it could come in 2-5 days but i wouldn't count on it.

In all honesty I was hesitant when I saw it was on Aliexpress but given FiiO is reputable company I decided, why not. Now that there's this whole fiasco I'm discouraged to even try. The X3-II is nice and all but maybe I'll just catch it in the local market or wait til its on sale. Kinda wish they'd just give WA residents a coupon code for their site to use when it goes live on Fiio.com but oh wells. :confused_face:

X3ii just got shipped from Minidisc so i should have it by tomorrow or Thursday. Looks like i will be able to put some pics up early.

Doesn't work with X5, so I'm betting it doesn't work with the new X3, either. It does work with my DX90, but it's quite power-hungry and cuts battery life in half

Do you have a similar style usb otg that works with your x5?

  Yeah I paid $285 CAD shipped from Treoo. Our dollar got a little worse in the mean time. I agree about Amazon Canada being crazy over priced on some items. I can by the exact same items on Amazon.com and have them shipped to Canada cheaper than buying from Amazon.ca. Isn't that veird?

I saw the Fiio X3II on ebay.ca for about $289. Same seller as on Amazon.ca I think but it won't be available until May 4th.

Yeah, I wouldn't worry about Fiio shipping it on a slow boat. The super-long shipping time horror stories are because people are ordering super-cheap stuff with free shipping from China. What do they expect? That's not Fiio's game - especially with their new, highly-visible product at launch!

FYI : I ordered one on Friday night, got price adjusted on Sunday night, paid for it Monday morning because of payment issues on Sunday night, payment was processed sometime on Monday and I am waiting shipment.
