*takes quick look at the X1 in a certain audio shop*

Today's the day I learnt the big difference between IPS (the X5 uses this) and TFT (the X1 and X3 use this) screens. I prefer the IPS screen but then again, everything comes at a price...
 
Strangely, the X3's screen looked way better than the X1's.

When it comes to audio (or video), cue files tell the player data (such as track separation or names) about the FLAC or other filetype if, for example, an album is ripped into one large file. I worded all of this very poorly.

 
 

Basically, if allows a player to read one large file as several tracks instead of one huge chunk.

Not sure about .cue support on the X1

@darkarn i never actually went back to TFT screens after seeing IPS ones. But anyways im getting an X5 cos my budget just went up by 5 times, and i have spare cash for a beyerdynamic one pro and sennheiser urbanite XL.

I'm wondering about that too because I pre-ordered one from Treoo yesterday.

Here in Holland they expect it to have it the end of next week. Price isn't certain yet, but it should be around 99 euro. Can't wait!

Looks like Headphonebar in Canada has it listed on their site (can't buy or preorder). They're expecting it to launch at the end of September and be around CAD$110-120.

yes, we start to ship x1 to some agents from today. the detail information will be available after 2 days on our office website and facebook. 
 
btw, all the pre-order is handled by our agents which is not the way we hope. please understand that we can response for any result of the pre-order in our agents.
