I didn't ask the price. I assume it would be $100 American as someone posted earlier about the price from Miccastore in the U.S. I don't know if it would be cheaper from an asia based store or not but if MP4 Nation offers it before Headphone bar I'll buy it from there and their prices are in U.S. dollars. Let me know if you find a reputable Asian based shop and I might get it from there too.

Keep an eye on PenonAudio as well. They have FiiO products, so I'd assume they'll get the X1 too. Plus their shipping is quick. According to the tracking number from my previous order with them (Havi B3), it left Hong Kong on August 20th reached Canada on the 21st.

That's great...I never heard of them but I will look them up. Thanks for the tip.

Thanks! But it actually seems to be a bit more expensive. According to Google, SGD$140 is about USD$112 and the X1 is apparently going to retail at USD$100.

^which would fit in with what i also recently discovered about treoo. i noticed it has been consistently charging higher prices than other stores for the same product.

just asked the taobao store based in gangding, guangzhou about stock. they say they'll definitely have it when it's out. they say 20th release date, don't know when it'll actually be available for certain. all tallies with what we hear from everyone else. they don't have a confirmed price. $100 is about 650 yuan, so i guess it'll be 600 ~ the nearest round number and marginally cheaper cos it's made here, like their other products. just my guess, for fun.

this is the store name you can search for taobao. never used one of those forwarding services, so this may be useless to you. 广州智通

X1 + E11k vs X3 please. This combo is closest in price to the X3 and also seems like the most popular. I have yet to get my X1 and E11k, but the main reason im digging this combo is cos the E11k can help improve the sound of my E10k

Urgh 60 more agonising days before the demo unit arrives.. Will probably try to do a preliminary comparison first when the X1 is out in stores. That's like.. in the next 7 to 10 days or so I hope.

singapore seems to have gotten ours early. E1 personal audio had them out for demo and buying about half a week ago.

welp my budget just skyrocketed. Gunning for the iBasso DX50 now plus an E12. But i will probably still try to demo this thing so i can do a review on my site.

What is the soundstage width like on X1? Can anyone compare the width next to IBasso DX50. For what's worth I find DX50 soundstage from headphone out very disappointing.

I'm currently using an iPod classic 5.5 and it is on it's last legs. I'm thinking about an x1 as a replacement and I'm wondering if the x1 will work in my Toyota. My iPod can be connected via usb and I can browse and control it through the car stereo. It also displays all the song information and artwork on the car's touchscreen. Would the x1 or any fiio dap do this?
