Just saw this for the first time. I'm stunned by its audio quality. It really felt like I was there!

Good songs too. The new version of "Hotel California which opens the concert is mindblowing. God I wish all the dvds were like this one

Yep, it's great. Just like the original CD has helped sell countless mediocre stereos, the DVD has helped sell countless mediocre HTiB-systems

Try out the Eric Clapton DVD - One More Car, one More Rider.

His best recorded concert video, as far as I know. Its fantastic.

(I discovered it being used to sell Bose-O systems.)

I have nearly 100 concert DVD's and Hell Freezes Over is still the best in terms of sound quality that I have heard - but IMHO acoustic recordings always sound better (& HFO is their "unplugged" acoustic "best of" although they do "plug in" on a number of tracks) - The Eagles latest DVD "Farewell Tour Part One" is almost the reverse (mainly electric with only a few acoustic numbers) - It is a great DVD too btw ...
Also high on my list of great sounding DVD's is David Gilmour's

I was blown away by Norah Jones Live In New Orleans. It's the most realistic sounding DVD I have ever heard. Highly recommended!
