There is an entire forum for that, actually! Y'all should feel free to suggest whatever you like! https://www.head-fi.org/forums/feedback-bug-reports.5620/

I don't want to rain on anybody's parade, because every set deserves a moment in the sun if it's truly engaging and in many cases trailblazing, but the NX8 will get famous around here about as much as the NX7 MK IV got famous around these parts. I'm not saying that as a d**k or a$$whole, because I still own my beloved MK III and I owned the MK IV for several years, but the NX8 (review and impression wise) isn't that far off the NX7 mk IV, you're getting less drivers, similar tuning, and at almost double the asking price. So yeah, it might be a really good set (the NX7 series was in my mind underrated despite the "intimate stage", but going to be famous? Let's get real. There's a better chance of the Timeless II rocketing into the stratosphere.Yes, it depends on how you want to go, but in the end I feel it will be the timbre and the all-rounder values that will make the NX8 slightly famous around here. They just need more reviews and more members to hear them. IMO
When it comes to being "famous" surely being notorious is a more desirable tag? Cos notoriety implies "character" i.e. not merely chosen by consensus but has unequivocally shaken chi-fi up? In this regard the role of the "Disruptor" is indeed imho crucial: to propel things forward. An interesting buffet rota is achieved by dipping into both worlds.I don't want to rain on anybody's parade, because every set deserves a moment in the sun if it's truly engaging and in many cases trailblazing, but the NX8 will get famous around here about as much as the NX7 MK IV got famous around these parts. come to papa.Well there you have it. I figured the price wouldn't be too far off from the Wu Zetian lineup.
Nooooooooo! I can't handle any more £200 ballpark sets!! LOL. The (future PTT) TRIO is now being transformed into a QUINTET....FAST !!come to papa.
Meng, we know the gig. LOL It's to be expected just like sunshine in Florida and an old man doing the jitterbug at a family picnic.100% That's the way I heard it as well. Way too much inflated hype on this set by certian people. I am still working on my impressions but want to add a certian measure of caution. The NX8 NiceHCK is a great set dont get me wrong, but if your thinking about picking up this set wait for more impressions.
That's a beautiful set up, my friend. Outstanding.
Klean needed a cable exchange...the new hub, dongle & DAP collectively provide additional transformational gears. Oh the choices now LOL. Internet radio: even those tracks playing at a paltry 128kbps bitrate sound somewhat elevated with the Go Link Max ? It definitely inspires you to hook up a keyboard into the set up and JAM !!
The NX8 is nothing more than the NX7 MK IV but with one less DD. It's sporting the same tech, and almost every review parrots the same impressions, which is they sound exactly like the much cheaper and sporting one extra DD MK IV. Safe but extended treble? Check. Warm and bassy. Check. Forward warm midrange. Check. Intimate but full staging. Check. The only thing where it variates is the look and build of the shell, but sonically, it seems to be a straight clone, and if you want more clarity on it, just watch Super*Reviews' video on this set. Save the $100 and just buy the MK IV, and it has the tuning nozzles, an fantastic cable, and an extra Beryllium DD.
It reminds me of the days where chinese phones used to have a jokes because of their look, overkill specs but looks weird outside. not exactly the same but it jumped to my mind when I read itI have never listened to NX7 but if it indeed sounds like NX8 at half price, I think it would have been way more popular
I don’t think NX8 mediocre or out of place next to P7 and Anvil. But at the same time, it’s not particularly… memorable. As I type this whilst lifting some iron, I can distinctly remember the midrange and the overall “feel” of P7, the midbass focus response and the uncanny sensation of the BCD soundstage of Anvil, but I can’t recall the sound of NX8 besides the treble and the fact that it sounded “good”.
Maybe I’ll remember after writing the review.
Btw, do you know that the pretty-on-photo faceplates of NX8 are actually printed plastic pieces? Not hand painted or dyed wood like other IEMs. It looks … low resolution in real life. Minor thing to keep the price down, but slightly disappointing to me since I like to look at IEMs in addition to, you know, listen to them.
He gave 2/5 stars for the pula anvil114.
But, he also gave 5/5 stars to the dusk and
