Here's the thing, and I find comments like this "annoying", but just because an IEM has "more air or slightly better air" doesn't make it BETTER. The question was it the best under $500.00. Not the best air under $500. As an all-arounder, technicalities per technicalities across the three frequencies, I'd say it's top 3 best IEMs under $400, if not top 2, but nothing is going to dominate in all facets. There is no perfect IEM. There is no way the DUNU Falcon Ultra with it's single DD is going to compete with the ISN H60 at all, no matter how much love one has for a single DD or that particular brand. I get what your saying, but @Singaravelan is asking where it ranks in terms of it's price range competitors, and I'm sure many here will agree, the air on the H60 is actually quite good, as is it's bass, mids, treble extension, crispness, and clarity, as is it's air, resolution, imaging, layering, and stage. Is it TOTL? That is up for debate, but if you do a keyword search, more than a few have mentioned for some, this is endgame.
For sake of sobriety, personally, I have to say no... the H60 is good at certain things *in its price bracket*, but is still far from TOTL really in any regard.

It can be someones "endgame" if they are not ready or planning to go higher up the ladder, but that's not a reason to water down the expression of TOP-OF-THE-LINE.

ISN H60 has got significant peak about 8KHz. From my experience it could strongly result in sibilants exaggerating and some instruments emphasis (say hi-hat). Has anybody noticed these drawbacks?
No big 8k peaks here. I'm probably one of the most sensitive people to sibilance; I'm always complaining about it on sets that others have no issues with. I absolutely love the H60 and have no sibilance issues with it. Granted, different people have different specific frequencies they're sensitive to, so I can only speak for myself. But I don't think I've seen a single sibilance complaint about the H60 on this thread.

Yes. Certainly have noticed some spice. The H60 isn't what you would call a smooth set, even though it's not egregiously sharp. Some like the crisp and sparkle it lends, for others it starts to grate against the ears after a while, especially at higher volumes. I think it's an undue emphasis in the overtones which gets especially dry and highlighted on BA drivers.

Yeah, I got my Piccolo on my AZ09 Pro at work. It sounds so good! Listening to Neelix (I think it was @nikbr 's rec) now. That bass! :beerchug::thumbsup:
They should remanufacture the Piccolo.

Double Planar TINHiFi Trouble!

These two are up next on my agenda. This is proving to be one of the more enjoyable reviews I've done.

It is interesting your FR differs form that I have found on squig.link. Your one I like more.

I use foams for my measurements unless specified otherwise. I do have H60 measurements with a few other silicone tips on my squig, which enhance that 8k peak. But I don't think it's significant enough to be anything other than coupler resonance.

Fully agree, it does have that. And it's a resonance, so will move with insertion depth. I initially wondered about that, too, since ISN knows how to mostly avoid these with their other sets. But for this one it works. Like @Lexington99 says, it's not the smoothest treble ever and I myself am sensitive to peakiness in this area to the point where I literally can't listen to an IEM without EQing the spike out. Why this works here, in my estimate, is because it's not the usual dip at 6, peak at 8, steep roll of afterwards, but a clever interplay of a small accent at 6 and a reasonably stable upper treble after the peak. So no graininess or unnatural shimmering, but more of a heightened sense of resolution. But fit is key for me. If insertion isn't deep enough, or also too deep, it sounds rougher/messier here. So YMMV quite a bit depending on how this works out for you and what tips you're using.

Xduoo X20 > NiceHCK Black Cat balanced > AS24 Pro > BQEYZ wide bore bass tips and this track = perfection.

To be honest, I have no idea when it’ll come out, and I’m still undecided due to the current lack of reviews and comparisons between the standard version and the HBB one. So, I’m definitely not in a hurry, and I’ll certainly wait to hear your thoughts about it
Technically, there are 3 versions with 6 tuning, plus the ability to stuff the provided form in the nozzles, so like 12 sound signatures across EW300 variations 😂 the perceived technical performance is also slightly different due to tuning variations. This IEM is going to be tough to write and read reviews.
