Back in the old days, men wore denim jackets. But these days you rarely see them except maybe with that motorcycle guy. I read an article about Levis jean company making efforts promoting the denim jacket because of the decline.

My theory is that the hoodie killed the denim jacket. It kind of makes sense. Hoodies are more comfortable and keep you warmer with the hood function if the temperature drops a little. The glory days of the denim jacket have past.

Am showing my age here but there was a time in my youth when the jean jacket was the fashion bomb. Everyone--male and female--had to have one. Now, I don't eve own one. I wear hoodies.
