Back in the old days, Ronald McDonald was the premier spokesman of McDonald's restaurant.

I had lunch at McDonald's restaurant and noticed a statue of Ronald McDonald which is not too common. From time to time, you will see his image but it's less compared to the old days.

My theory is that clowns are less popular these days.

I think they jumped the shark when they created a character named "Mayor McCheese" - RIP Ronald.
